In 1960, Jack "squired" his cousin Bette and I around New York City, while we were there on our way to Europe. We were 18 at the time, and he was very kind to us both. I have never forgotten that evening. My condolences to his family.

In high school Jack Dierdorff and I were asked, at centenial time, to pose in a carriage in dress of the time. He wore a top hat. Jack later had a fine career as an editor. I am glad to add to rememberences of Jack.
