MURRAY HENICK

HENICK--Murray, 88, passed away peacefully at home in Boca Raton, surrounded by his loved ones on January 9, 2014, from complications of Parkinson's disease. Beloved husband of Rhoda for 63 years; father and father-in-law of Alan (Adrienne), Jeffrey (Olga) and Janet (Eduard); grandfather of Matthew, Zachary, Alixandra, Daniel, Andrew, Amanda, Stefan and April. After serving in the Navy during WWII, Murray graduated from NYU and began his business career. A true entrepreneur, his career successes included Chairman of Western Carpet for many years, importer and parking garage operator. Favorite pastimes included racehorse owner, gin rummy and spending time with his grandchildren. Ambitious, yet humble, he will be forever missed.
