Rumaldo G "Peanut" Dominguez

1940 - 2010

ODESSA Rumaldo G. Dominguez "Peanut", age 70, went to be with our Lord Saturday, September 25, 2010, in Pecos, Texas.
Rumaldo was born February 7, 1940, in Paso San Antonio, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Tiburcio and Santos Dominguez. He was retired from Duval. He was married for 50 years to Flora Dominguez.
Rumaldo is survived by his wife, Flora (Flo) Do­min­guez of Pecos, Texas; three sons, Rumaldo Do­min­guez Jr., Joey Domin­guez and Victor Do­min­guez, all of Odessa, Texas; daughters, Gloria D. Gage and husband, Jon David, and Becky Do­minguez Lujan, also all of Odessa, Texas. Also surviving Rumaldo are six grandchildren, Jacob Do­min­guez and wife Naomi, Anthony Gonzales and companion Abby, Jeremy Dominguez and wife Nikki, all of Odessa, Texas, Fran­chesca D. Valdez and husband Isaac of Lubbock, Texas, and Cynthia Lujan and Melissa Lujan of Odessa, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Ashtin Do­min­­guez, Jayden Domin­­guez, Jordan Dominguez, Cameron Castillo and baby Valdez; a brother, Hermerejildo Do­min­guez of Carbondale, Colorado; three sisters, Maria (Cuca) Suchil of Odessa, Agripina Leyva of Phoenix, Ariz., and Diega Urias of Fort Stockton, Texas; and last but not least, his Chihuahua "Chelsea."
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Francisco (Pancho) Dominguez.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to
8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Caywood officiating.
Pallbearers will be, Jacob Dominguez, Anthony Gonzales, Jeremy Dominguez, Juan Urias, David Suchil, Marco Suchil, Adrian Bujando and Edward Aguilar.
At this time, we, the Dominguez family, would like to thank all the wonderful friends and family for their support, prayers, flowers, food and monetary gifts. Thanks to American Home Health Hospice in Pecos, Texas, especially Darla Blackstock and Myra Taylor for the care of our father during his illness.
