Brenda my dear friend. I miss you so much. I know you are in heaven now and have peace from that. Little things remind me of you and I start to cry. I made pancakes for my boys today and remembered your southern ones with self rising flour and syrup. I smiled. I miss you very much. You were a very good friend and always had good advice. Even when I didnt want to hear it. If I could send you one last song it would be boys to men one sweet day. I know your shining down from heaven. I will always remenber your strength and will power. Sometimes life aint fair. This is one of those times. You touched my heart and I will never forget it. Rest in peace with God and watch over now.

I Did Not Die

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

Our sincere condolences for Ronnie and all of Brenda's family and friends.
With love,
Rob, Cindy, Austin, and Sierra Hawkes

God saw you getting tired.
A cure was not to be
So he put his arms around you
And Whispered "Come With Me"

......We watched you suffer
And we saw you fade away
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay

A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God Broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best

It's lonesome here without you
We miss you more each day
Life doesn't seem the same
Since you've gone away

Hooray! Brenda is now free of all pain and suffering, but great sadness befalls all who knew her, especially my wonderful daughter, Veronica. Both are in my prayers. I am also further saddened because it was less than a month before we would be out there for an anticipated reunion, and I cried.

Brenda you were more like a sister to me than an Aunt. Your wonderful wit and sense of humour will always be a wonderful memory I will cherish. In our selfishness we wanted you to stay here with us but we are glad that you are pain free and at peace at last. I know while the last six years of your life were full of pain they were also full of joy because of your love and life with Veronica. I thank God that he placed Veronica in your life and that you both were able to find your soul mates. We will miss you and always love you. Veronica please know that we love you and will be here for you. Love Always and Forever, Tracey Hall Gaither and family
