Ocala - Mr. Gerald George Buch Sr., passed away in Ocala, FL, on May 14, 2011. He was born in the Bronx, NY, on November 14, 1939. He was a retired sheet metal worker. He is preceded in death by his son Gerald George Buch Jr. He was an avid golfer, volunteer fireman, loved hunting, fishing and he was famous for his breakfasts. Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Maureen "Penny"; a sister, Margaret Hall and her husband Jim of Ocala, FL; a daughter-in-law MaryEllen Buch; three granddaughters: Megan Buch-Lowery and her husband Andrew; Candace Piechowicz and her husband Kevin; and Jamie Buch; a great-grandson: Austin Piechowicz; also many nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends will take place at the Roberts Funeral Homes Bruce Chapel West, 6241 SW SR200 (352)854-2266 on Thursday May 19 from 2-4 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Joy Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7045 SW 83rd Place in Ocala on Friday May 20th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of Marion County.
