CHARLES SEILER Obituary
CHARLES EDRIDGE, 81
Ocala - Charles Eldridge Seiler, Jr., 81 of Ocala, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at home. Charles was born in Ocala to Eldridge and Marie Seiler, and lived here all his life. He graduated Ocala High School in 1952 and served in the National Guard.
Charles owned Seiler and Son Farms, a business started by his father and uncle as Seiler Brothers. He was a lifetime member of Ocala Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge, and a Gator booster since 1979. Charles attended Oak Griner Baptist Church in his early years, and First Baptist Ocala since he was married. He was elected Marion County Gator Club 'Gator of the Year', inducted into the Marion County Agriculture Hall of Fame, Ocala Jaycee's Young Farmer and Rancher, and Ocala Elks Lodge 'Elk of the Year'. Charles loved Gator football, fishing, and 'beachin' it'.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Bostick Seiler in 2010.
He is survived by children Sandy (Jason) Watt, Stacy Seiler, and Scott (Sharon) Seiler, all of Ocala, five grandchildren; Amber (Clay) Starling, Andy (Lauren) Seiler, Niki Seiler, Matt Seiler, and Lance Livingston, all of Ocala, four great grandchildren; Kinsley and Tate Starling, Welles Seiler, and Makayla Seiler.
Visitation will be Thursday August 20th from 5 to 7 pm at Oak-Griner Baptist Church in Ocala. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, August 21, 2015 at Oak-Griner Baptist Church. Private burial will be at Anthony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ocala Elks Club, 702 NE 25th Ave. Ocala, FL 34470.

Sandy, Stacy and Scott, I just heard about your Dad passing, I`m another one who graduated with him in 1952, we both grew up in Oak Griner , went to schools together. He and Barbara were such nice people and you children may not remember me, but while our families went to Oak Griner Baptist church I was always in the choir and/or at the piano. My children, Carolyn, Cindy, Wayne,and Russell and I wanted to let you know we `ll keep you in our prayers for God to comfort you in this time of sorrow. Both your parents were loved very much.
