William Cutting Obituary
William H. Cutting, age 90, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013.
William was born December 5, 1922 in Ellsworth, Ohio to the late Harry and Margaret (Roach) Cutting. He was a State Highway Patrolman and retired as a Lieutenant with over 25 years of service. Bill was a devout member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
Bill was the loving father of Carol (Jim) Hendricks of Colorado Springs, Colo. and William P. (Thereasa) Cutting of Vine Grove, Ky.; dear grandfather of Daniel, Jeffery, Kimberly, David, Lynn, David and Rodney; great-grandfather of 10; and dearest brother-in-law and best friend of Lois Cutting. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Cutting and his siblings, Charles and Harry Cutting, and Frances Neal.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 4, 11 a.m., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina, Fr. Thomas Stock will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina.
