Jeanette Hinman Obituary

Jeanette B. Hinman, 92, of Kent, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 13, 2001.

She was born April 12, 1919 in Johnson City, Tenn. to Harold and Margaret Britton. She lived her entire adult life in the Kent area, residing with her daughter Peggy and family for the past three years. Jeanette was a member of First Christian Church in Kent, for over 50 years.

Jeanette was a word search enthusiast and enjoyed Sunday dinners with her extended family. She appreciated the beauty of fresh cut flowers and her conversations with her beloved caregiver Pat Elzholz. She will be sadly missed by family and friends, as well as her furry friends Duke and Marley.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Alan Hinman of Amargosa Valley, Nev.; daughters, Pamela (David) Hall of Amargosa Valley, Nev. and Peggy (Patrick) Ailes of Kent; grandchildren, Tara Ailes of Kent, Shanna (Brad) Istnick of Kent, Ryan (Anna) Ailes of Brimfield, Tim (Colleen) Hall of Burton, Rob (Michelle) Hall of Burton, Paige George of Phoenix, Arizona; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Perry Hinman in 1977.

A celebration of her life will be held July 30th, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Kent, with Rev. Ralph Wearstler officiating. She will be buried at Standing Rock Cemetery. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory are handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Jeanette B.
