Robert Miller Obituary
Robert was born in Akron, Ohio on Nov 14, 1914 to Frank F. and Clara (Parisette) Miller. He graduated from Buchtel H.S. in 1933. He received his BS in engineering and MS in physics from Akron U. He worked as a physicist for BF Goodrich's Research Lab in Brecksville, Ohio.
Robert married Lucy Anne Sargisson in 1940. They raised their four children in Cuyahoga Falls. Upon retirement in 1977 they moved to Coshocton County where Robert pursued numerous hobbies including growing apple trees, grapes and restoring antique radios.
Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy Anne and a son, Philip (Abraham) Miller. Robert married Maxine Patterson in 1995. She survives him. He is also survived by sons, Richard (Janet) Miller, Steven (Doranne) Miller; daughter, Janet (Malcolm) Sigmond; stepson, Michael (Sandy) Patterson; step-daughters, Mary Patterson, Susan (Bryan) Forbes; eight grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at Keene United Methodist Church on Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Keene UMC or Hospice (HSCC, P.O. Box 1284, Coshocton, 43812).
