Spoke with my Dad last week and he had told me that his Brother Bill and my Uncle had passed away on Saturday the 3rd of July... I send my deepest sympathies to Tina & Tammy for the loss of their Dad. I know my Dad was happy he had recently spoke to him and was saying how good he had sounded, I know everyone knew how the outcome would be...just didn't expect it so quickly. You just never know what life with throw at you...But know that he is at peace. Again my deepest sympathies to all the family and friends who will miss him. He is probably again running with the Buffalo's...

Love to all the family,

Pamela Tocci

Time is not on our side seconds turn into minutes, minutes into hrs., hrs. into days, days to weeks, weeks to months, and months to years. 20 or more to be exact since I spent my summers playing buffalo rancher out at grandpas. He would shout up the steps to my room "Get up we got work to do!". Id get up get dressed and put my boots on. I could hear his thunderous call "Hobuff Hobuff Hobuff !". He lived for that second, that minute, that hr that we would feed the animals, jump in the truck and head to McDonalds. I loved that hr ! We would talk about our whole day; like what we needed to do then we would get back in the truck and go home. In those weeks, months, years he would teach me so many things. Everyday was a learning experience. Weather we were switching pastures, mending a fence, or chasing julie around the property we were usually having a good time in those days. One summer he and I loaded up the trailer on the truck and headed west for a buffalo auction at Ted Turners Ranch. First, we went on a little detour. We went to Mount Rushmore, needles highway, and Yellowstone. We even found a plains xmas tree, it was a tumbleweed. He said "We'll paint it and decorate it for xmas. Unfortunately it didn't survivve the trip. We lost one cow that trip but the rest came back unscaved. We were pretty proud of that. We increased the numbers by ten. Later, I went back home to go back to school; and days turned into months, months to years and now I have a beautiful family of my own. But as I thought about what to write down it dawned on me 20 years where did it go those seconds, minutes, hrs, days, weeks, months, years? As I look back on my fondest memories of my life. It was always time working against us. I saw him this week well i'll stop by today and those days come and they go. Can I offer some advice? Follow through with you're intensions don't wait for the years to pass you by.I'd like to paint a picture for you of the man I knew. He was daring, srong, honest, loving, and hardworking. Everything we could ever hope to be.

I grew up right down the road from his farm. A very nice man who everyone liked. The Buffalo's were awesome to look at when you would drive by. Reminded you of the Old West.

We were visiting Bill at the Buffalo Ranch the last time we saw him. He served us a wonderful meal of buffalo burgers hot off the barbecue grill. He introduced us to many buffalo near the fence while he casually roamed amongst the huge beasts. It was a memorable experience for us . Our family album has pages of photos of that happy day . We fondly remember Bill and his daughters. Dick and Joanne Tocci

When I married Bill's brother, Joe he talked all the time about his brothers and sisters. I was so excited when I finally met them. Bill could always put a smile on my face!! I have many fond memories including a few trips to Denver and Salt lake City with Wild Bufalo Bill. I never met anyone that ate so much corn on the cob. One day I bought three dozen ears of corn. Joe went out and put them on the grill. When I went out the two of them had eatten every last one. Its funny what you remember!!

I have alot of fond memories of Bill, having worked at his retail store for a few years. My favorite work days were when it would rain. Bill would come over to the store and we would sit in front on the home made benches he had made, drink rootbeer and he would tell the best stories. I will never forget him chasing "Julie" the mule for an hour trying to get her back in the pen. He was so mad and that mule would Neh at him, just like she was laughing at him. And the more I laughed at Bill, the more he threaten to fire me..
Bill was a great man and will be remembered fondly.

To: Tammy, Tina,Timmy,Heather, Miranda, Rich, Melissa, Paul, Kristy & kids we're so sorry for your loss. Rick and I remember as teens coming out to the Buffalo farm, playing hide-n-seek between the big rolls of hay and seeing a Buffalo face to face for the 1st time. Bill laughed, but taught me how to approach them. Even though he showed me a few tricks, I don't think I'll ever be able to go near one again without G-pa Bill! You will be missed!
