To the Hanlon family. I would visit with Dr. Hanlon every month when he came to pay his storage bill. He had such a great sense of humor and was so smart about so many things that I looked forward to his visits. I will miss him along with so many others. I know he is now with Josephine and is happy. God Bless.

I had the privilege to work with Dr Hanlon in the Barberton ER. He was patient, kind, and always fun. I learned many of my assessment skills from him. He was always so good with his patients. My deepest sympathy to his family

My dearest Hanlon cousins... I am very sorry to be missing Uncle Mudge's funeral and being with all of you during this time. I am so sorry for your loss, especially on the heels of losing Aunt Jo earlier. They were both such wonderful people and are now joyously reunited. You can rest assured they will be watching over each of you and your families. What better guardian angels! I personally thank God for having them as a part of my life.
With love...their Flower Girl

I was a coach with Herb, in WABL. He also was my family physician. We opposed each other on the baseball field, as we coached different teams. But he was a friend. I moved from Akron, in 1994, on a job transfer.
He was a good man and a friend. God Bless!

Dr. Hanlon was my doctor for over 20 years before I moved out of state. He was the best doctor ever. Very compassionate, had a great sense of humor, and always made you smile no matter how bad you felt, but also was very serious when needed to be. Took the time with you and you never felt rushed in his office. One, aspect I always admired was if you called the office after hours, it went to his home and he answered the phone himself and answered your questions. Truly a wonderful doctor and family man. They don't make doctors like him any more. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. Thoughts and prayers with his children. You should be very proud to call him your father.

I send my sympathy and prayers to all of the Hanlon Family. I remember Herb best at the Joy weekends, sitting with him at the back table and learning his wisdom. Sr. Marlene LoGrasso, OSU
