Ernest Fournier Obituary
Ernest (Ernie) Fournier, of Akron, Ohio, died November 20, 2016. He fought hard but lost the battle with cancer.
Ernie retired from Hudson City Schools in 2014 and was teaching computer at Sacred Heart of Jesus in Wadsworth.
Ernie was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Fournier.
He leaves behind, his wife, Sharon of 36 years; sons, Justin (Jenni) and Richard; grandchildren, Jackson, Jordan, Josie, Andrew and Stephen; brother, Joe (Carol) Fournier; and father, Richard (Barbara) Fournier.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3450 Sycamore Dr., Stow. Calling hours will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 East Exchange Street, Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family School Endowment.
