Your favorite sissy and my best friend... as you called me... Pami Sue :D

Although 12 years have passed, you remain so strongly in my heart. I miss you, Deb! I miss our talks, our outings, our hikes in the woods. I lone to hug you so tight. I miss all those cookbooks you'd give me every holiday and the cooking lessons in hope that you could get me to enjoy and learn how to cook but guess what... I still have no desire to be in the kitchen. I'd rather mow the lawn! Your husband Mike passed away of a broken heart just 16 days after you died. He could not live with the loss. Then months later, your son Joel died of a freak accident so all you have left is Bradley whom I hold onto dearly and keep close to my heart. I miss you so much!

My dear sister and best friend..... You were in several of our conversations last night as we had a farewell get together for your best friend Cindy Nichols... Clarke!! She will soon be finding you in heaven unfortunately. I ordered your favorite Jalapeno Poppers at Three Pines, and would have ordered your Cobb Salad as well however I was not even hungry. I sure miss our lunches and dinners at the Pines... I miss everything but mostly.... I miss you!! Love you sis!!

I am still trying to come to terms with my oldest sister's passing at such a young age. I do take comfort knowing she will be with good company, our mother, Sue Wich, our niece, Jennifer Paddock, our Uncle, Dick Knapp and our Aunt, Florence Knapp. Amongst too many others. I'm sure they are all catching up and playing cards. Deb, We know you are finally at peace. Rest well.

Debbie is my oldest sister. She was there for me through some very rough times as I was for her. She spent 30 yrs of deli & bakery work and seemed to be able to greet each customer with a bubbly hello. She loved to cook, grown her own veggies, teach others to cook. She liked to knit, crochet, make creative things like pine cone wreaths.
I miss her so much and can not imagine how life will be without her.
