Time turns so fast, the years have pasted so fast, I have spoke about Gunny Claussen to floks I meet, some Marines, and other services. I remember him often.
I remember bits of wisdom he would tell us. Things that he went through.
God Bless Gunny Claussen and his family.

GySgt. Claussen, You were my first Chief Cook at El Toro MCAS. My wife and I saw you last at the Air Force base in Riverside 15 years ago. Just before I retired. You took some of us Pvt.'s to your NEW home in Tustin/Irvine back in 1972. You would tell us how much you loved your wife & daughters. We were young Marines working for you. God be with you.
