DONNA FERCH Obituary

Ferch, Donna Florence "Together Again" Donna Florence Ferch, peacefully passed away on October 12, 2010 in the city and state she loved, Fountain Valley, California. She was born on March 29, 1920 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Leroy and Florence Burr. Mom came to California with her family when she was five years old and was raised in Los Angeles. During WWll, she met and married a handsome airman, Warren Ferch. As a family we take comfort knowing she is in his loving arms again and that they will never be separated. Mom was always a hard worker and had several jobs. She worked for Market Basket as a meat wrapper for over 35 years. Her home and gardens were her pride and joy. She loved baking and decorating cakes for the special people in her life. Her family was the highlight of her life and her grandchildren were the "jewels in her crown". She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Sandefur (Stan); son, Guy Ferch (Therese); grandchildren, Julieanna French, Charmaine Drury, Christine Ferch and Robert Ferch; great-grandchildren, Chaz, Chelseann, and Colby French, Alexandrya Tonge, Trevor, Justin and Tyler Tillotson and Gabriella and Malia Ferch; great-great-granddaughters, Laeynie and Makinley French. Funeral services will be held in the Fountain Valley 2nd ward of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00. Viewing at 10:30. Special thanks to Royal Care for the care that they so lovingly gave our mom. Also thank you to our special neighbors that were such good friends to our parents. Heritage Memorial Services

We loved our Friday nights family together. The men would watch Gorgeous George wrestling and the ladies would play cards. Linda and I would play with our dolls. I remember at Uncle Wilfords house he had a treat for us and he said it was milk he didn´t tell us it was goat´s milk and it was terrible. Good memories

Hi everyone:

I was reading the paper and saw your Mothers article in the newspaper. You Mother and I were cousin's and a part of the Bergstrom clan years ago it seems. I am LeRoy and Lillian's daughter Jennie and my brother was David Kirts. We used to go to all the reunions.
We are very sorry for the loss of your Mom and I see that your Dad passed earlier when did that happen.
At least they are having a big Bergstrom reunion because I think there are more on the other side. I would love to talk with someone and I want to attend the funeral tomorrow if possible. My email is [email protected]. My name is Samstag and it used to be Murphy and I had Robert, Wayne & Jeff.
Again we are so sorry for your loss.

Dear Guy, Cathy, Christy, Robert, and Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of sorrow. The lost of a Parent is truely painful. But Our Lord is with you all so do not fear anymore. All My Love, Denise V. Ferch
