Shelley M. Skoglund

Skoglund, Shelley M., 41, passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2010 at her home in Raleigh, NC. She was born on July 28, 1969 in Los Angeles, CA, and was preceded in death by her mother, Dr. Dorothy D. Skoglund on March 31, 2007. Shelley is survived by her husband, Roy Dauz, and two cherished children, Sofia (6) and Julian (3), Father, Joseph Skoglund of Fallbrook, CA; sisters, Patricia Kimme of Omaha, NE, Dawn Hackworth of Valley, NE, Debra Skoglund of Scottsbluff, NE; Shannon Roeber of San Clemente, CA, Sheryn Skoglund of Santa Monica, CA, Kathy Nolan of Glendora, CA; Lauren Skoglund of Orange, CA, and thirteen nieces and nephews. Shelley graduated from Los Alamitos High School in June of 1986, and Washington State University in Pullman, WA, in June of 1996. She had a successful career in commercial banking and enjoyed spending vacations and holidays with her very close family and dear life-long friend Shari Hanson. Shelley's bubbly personality and love for her family will be missed. Services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, October 16 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in Cypress, CA. In lieu of flowers, an education trust has been set up for Sofia and Julian Dauz.
