Shelley Skoglund Obituary

Skoglund, Shelley M., 41, passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2010 at her home in Raleigh, NC. She was born on July 28, 1969 in Los Angeles, CA, and was preceded in death by her mother, Dr. Dorothy D. Skoglund on March 31, 2007. Shelley is survived by her husband, Roy Dauz, and two cherished children, Sofia (6) and Julian (3), Father, Joseph Skoglund of Fallbrook, CA; sisters, Patricia Kimme of Omaha, NE, Dawn Hackworth of Valley, NE, Debra Skoglund of Scottsbluff, NE; Shannon Roeber of San Clemente, CA, Sheryn Skoglund of Santa Monica, CA, Kathy Nolan of Glendora, CA; Lauren Skoglund of Orange, CA, and thirteen nieces and nephews. Shelley graduated from Los Alamitos High School in June of 1986, and Washington State University in Pullman, WA, in June of 1996. She had a successful career in commercial banking and enjoyed spending vacations and holidays with her very close family and dear life-long friend Shari Hanson. Shelley's bubbly personality and love for her family will be missed. Services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, October 16 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in Cypress, CA. In lieu of flowers, an education trust has been set up for Sofia and Julian Dauz. I was saddened to read of Shelley's sudden passing. I babysat for Shelly when she was a baby (along with Patty and Debbie)for the Skoglund's. I always thought highly of their family and I'm sure Shelly was as loving a parent as she grew up with. My prayers are with your family.

She has a beautiful smile.Many thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. You are blessed with two beautiful children and a husband.You went to school at the time my sister and steve missbrenner went to school in 1986. Although my sis graduated from cypress and Steve from Los Alamitos High School and my cousin Patty Seymour taught English at the time. God bless you at this difficult time and sorry about the loss of your wife.
Too young to die, she had her whole life ahead of her.
