Miss Bledsoe was my 5th grade teacher at Lakemont Elem. We later reconnected when I was initiated into Alpha Chi Omega sorority at Stetson Univ. I spent 30 years as a elem. teacher in Seminole County. After retiring in 2001 I moved to The Villages. I'm reminded that those we love and care for live forever in our hearts and minds. They are treasures to be treasured. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Joan was an Alpha Chi Omega sister and a gracious hostess. I recall happy times at her home in Winter Park.

Dear John and Harrison and family, I was very sad to hear about your mom. I taught with her at Dillard St. until she retired. I enjoyed knowing her and I know she will be missed by you and many more. She was a great lady. Sincerely, Nancy Wiggins

Dear John and Laurie, It's never easy to lose a loved one, especially a "Mother". May it comfort you to know that Joan is not suffering anymore and has gone 'home' to be with our Lord. My love and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
