Warren J. Fordham

FORDHAM, USN, LT, CMDR, WARREN J., Retired died May 31, 2011. Mr. Fordham was born in Somersett, Florida (now a community in Bradenton, FL) December 6, 1926. After joining the NAVY in 1943, he served proudly for over 30 years. During his military career, he served with the blimp division, piloted dive bombers, served on numerous aircraft carriers, and was CO of the Pinecastle Bombing Range in Ocala, Florida. Warren and his family came to Sanford, Florida in 1960 as he was stationed at the Sanford Naval Station. He attended college at Seminole Community College and University of Central Florida. Mr. Fordham is survived by his wife, Agnes Coleman Fordham; and his three children, son Michael Anthony Fordham (Martha); daughter Robin Fordham Crockett and son Richard Dean Fordham (Marion). He had three grandsons, Thomas L. Crockett, Warren S. Crockett and Marcus S. Crockett and four granddaughters, Adrienne Bonilla, Denise Fordham, Tracy Church (Jerry) and Kayly Fordham. Great grandchildren are Kathryn Fordham, Robin E. Crockett, Caitlyn Crockett, Gail Crockett, and twins Wade and Wyatt Bruce. Hamilton. He is also survived by his brother Virgil Fordham (Kay); sister Betty Hamilton (Billy), sister Annita Emery, and sister Janice Fleeman along with many nieces and nephews. A service will be held on June 3, 2011 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oaklawn Chapel at 1:00 PM EST.
