Preceded in death by his parents, Natalie and Gordon Buss, Randy was born on Jan. 5, 1936, and raised in Larchmont, NY and on Cape Cod, MA. Randy enjoyed woodworking, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family. A member of the original cast that opened Walt Disney World in 1971, Randy spent 26 years with the company. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Colleen Lanier Buss, and son, Scott Buss, Manhattan Beach, CA.; daughter, Shani Monk and her husband Tim, Houston, TX; son, Spence Buss, and his wife, Jill, Winter Park, FL; and grandchildren, Hannah and Parker Monk. A memorial celebration will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Tanner Hall at 29 W. Garden Ave. in Winter Garden, from 4:30 to
6 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation at cshospice.org. The family also wishes to acknowledge and thank Dr. Jacobson and Dr. Kunta and the staff at Cornerstone Hospice, especially at Winter Park Towers, for the comfort and care provided to Randy and the family.

To the Buss': Our thoughts have been with you over the weeks and through this very difficult time. Our hearts have weighed heavily. We have several wonderful memories of Randy from sharing his workshop to being a great host at our first son's baby shower. We all hope you find comfort as we have with the loss of my Dad. I'm sure they are now friends in Heaven together and have the best 'tinkerer's' workshop!

To all the Buss family,

I, along with Scott's colleagues at Kenexa, send our love and deepest sympathies to all the family. I know you will have endured a difficult few months and must now face the sense of loss with Randy's passing. I trust that, over time, this sense of loss will be replaced by happier memories of your time together.

Best wishes to you all,

Andrew Jackson and the Kenexa family
