Richard Stultz Obituary

STULTZ, RICHARD NEWLAND, of Winter Park went to his heavenly home with joy and peace on May 10, 2011. Richard (Dick) was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 18, 1934 to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stultz. Dick graduated from Roanoke Catholic High School in Roanoke, VA in 1952 and graduated from Virginia Polytechnical Institute in 1956. He served two years as a lieutenant in the Marines. Dick and his bride, Frances Anne White, moved to Florida in 1959 where he established his business of wholesale records and tapes. Dick was so proud of his family. He is survived by his wife, Frances Anne, sister, Ellen Overstreet, six children, five sons-in-law, and fifteen grandchildren. His children: Barbie Ricke, Rick Stultz, Mary Kay
Pickering, Terry Kilborn, Margie McIntosh, and Patricia Walker; his sons-in-law: Jeff Ricke, Mark Pickering, David Kilborn, David McIntosh, and Lance Walker, Jr. His grandchildren: Matthew, Mary Beth, David, and James Ricke; John, Andrew, and Anne Pickering; Katie, Elizabeth, and Bradley Kilborn; Madeline McIntosh; Lance, Sarah, Caroline, and William Walker. As a true man of God, Dick was always happy to share his faith with family, friends, and even strangers. Throughout the last 30 years of his life he tirelessly ministered to others. He loved to laugh and often used his sense of humor to lighten and embrace any situation. His compassion, warm smile, and beautiful blue eyes will forever be remembered. During his life he enjoyed flying, bike riding, ice cream, photography and was also an avid reader. Dick traveled throughout the world, but especially cherished annual trips with his children and grandchildren. He carried a grateful heart for his son and sons-in-law for taking care of his girls. Memorial service will be held on Monday May 23rd at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Winter Park, 1021 New York Ave, WP 32789. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Hospice of the Comforter, 605 Montgomery Rd., Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. My family and I had the privilege of meeting Richard years ago thru Pastor Lal. He was a wonderful man.
