FINLESS, Jean Elizabeth Switzer (nee Dinning) After a lengthy battle with Parkinson's, Jean peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 30th, 2005. Wife of the late Ken Switzer, and the late John Finless. She enriched the lives of all who had the good fortune to be with her. Raised in Ottawa, as a teenager she bicycled to Toronto. Enjoyed travel, gardening, bridge, golf, summers on the boat ("Sunrise") cruising the Rideau River and the Thousand Islands, Campeau Fish & Games Club, Ladies Rotary Executive, and Rainbow Girls. Above all a mother, sister, friend, confidant and wife to two wonderful husbands. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 403 Richmond Road, at Roosevelt, on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Westboro United Church. A very special thanks to the incredible and caring staff at the Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Center, whose care over the past decade has been "the best". In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Society of Ottawa, 1053 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, K1Y 4E9, would be appreciated. Don,

Since first meeting your mother in 1971, it has become clear, the long friendship and business partnership which you and I have enjoyed, were based upon everything she gave you. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
