I remember Mr. Maybee as one of the finest Heads of Mission I had worked for (in New Delhi). His leadership, compassion, honour and respect for all people earned the respect of all who met him.
My sympathy to Nevitt and all the family. God bless.

I remember Mr. Maybee (he shall always be "Mr." to me)as the tall, stately gentleman who lived across the street. I would often see him walking down Marshall Court, and sometimes I would look up to see him pass by, as I was crouched down on his driveway, playing with rocks or drawing in the sand, with his youngest son. I always felt that there was something very special about the man, and after reading about a lifetime filled with public service, I can see what shone through.

Dear Nevitt and family,
I will always remember Jack's graciousness, calm and calming demeanour, his tall, straight bearing, and his steadfast faith. I see from the obituary notice that he joined the forces the same year my father did, and I have a special place in my heart for veterans of "The Greatest Generation".
May faith, friends and family keep you, and may Jack rest now in peace.
