Dear Pippa and family, I remember Tony fondly from my time in Government and especially the Far East Division of ITC.I had the honour to work closely with him on leather negotiations with the Japanese, and he taught me a lot about negotiating techniques. My sincere condolences. I will light a candle in his memory.

I knew Tony from my days at the Canadian Mission in Geneva in the early 1970s, where he came frequently on assignment. I always enjoyed his company. We kept in contact on trade-policy issues, close to his heart, over the years after I left government service. I am deeply saddened by this news and send my sincere condolences to his wife and family. Tony will be truly missed by his many former colleagues and vast array of friends.

Dear Pippa,
We were saddened to learn of Tony's passing. Please accept our most sincere condolences. Tony was a great guy whether in DFAIT, RHOMA, CTPL, the CIC National Capital Branch and its Africa Study Group, or as a keen bird watcher. He made real contributions to whatever he did and we will miss him. Unfortunately we will not be able to make the memorial service as we will be out of the country. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
