WOLFE , Marianne Passed Away on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 in Jacksonville, Florida with her daughter at her side. Beloved wife of the late Alexander Wolfe. Loving mother of Irene Wolfe Cywes ( Robert ). Cherished grandmother of Claire and Alexander Cywes. Marianne was born in Hungary. She was a Holocaust survivor. She left Hungary in 1956 for Montreal, Canada, She worked as a mechanical draughtsman. She married Alexander Wolfe and lived in Ottawa until close to her death when she went to Jacksonville, Florida to be with her daughter and family. Funeral Service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue, Ottawa on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 10:30am. Interment to follow at the Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street, Ottawa. Shiva will be observed at the home of Marianne Wolfe, 804-1343 Meadowlands Drive until Wednesday, July 19, 2006. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Jewish Family Services would be appreciate

To Irene and family,



I was one of the JFS volunteers who drove Marianne to medical appointments. She was a very fine lady, always dignified and pleasant, even in difficult circumstances. I was honoured to know her, and send my heartfelt condolences.
