MIKEL, Arthur Charles July 5, 1920 - October 7, 2005 BA Queens, MA University of Toronto Peacefully at West End Villa Extendicare on Friday, October 7, 2005 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of many years to Jean Mikel (nee Peacock). Predeceased by his parents Charles and Evelyn Mikel, by his first wife Norah Mikel (nee Reay) and by his brother Dr. Donald E. Mikel and his wife Yvonne. Uncle to Elizabeth, Donald and Robert Mikel, Marion Phillips and Mark Peacock. An economist by profession and interest, Art was also a model train enthusiast and an avid reader of history. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd. at Roosevelt Ave., Ottawa on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon, at which time a service will be held in the chapel. Interment will be held at St. Peter's Heritage Cemetery, Cobourg. For those who wish, a donation to the charity of their choice would be appreciated.
