CLARKE, Frances Victoria Passed away peacefully at Unitarian House on Saturday, June 29, 2002 in her 96th year. Widow of the late Reverend Canon Serson S. Clarke. Loving mother of John (Joyce) Ottawa, Constance Byam Shaw (Nicolas) London, England and Penny Vatnsdal (Gary) Winnipeg. Proud grandmother of Gregory and Christopher Clarke, Tara Preston, Christiane Wilson, Jemma Allett, Jed Wilson, Cassandra and Jasper Goldman and Caelum and Joshua Vatnsdal. Also surviving her 12 great-grandchildren. Frances will be remembered by many friends at St. Luke's Anglican Church Ottawa, St. Paul's, Winnipeg and St. James, Manotick. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Thursday, July 4, 2002 from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 760 Somerset Street West, Ottawa on Friday, July 5, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Unitarian House, 20 Cleary Avenue, Ottawa K2A 3Z9 or to St. Luke's Anglican Church, 760 Somerset Street West, Ottawa K1R 6P9 would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to thank the kind and compassionate staff of Unitarian House where Frances resided the last 10 years.
