Xue LI SETO Obituary
Born on October 27, 1958 in the county of Kaiping, province of Canton, China. In her 57th year, she passed away peacefully on December 3, 2015 at the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital in Ottawa. Xue had endured a long battle fighting cancer, and is survived by her beloved son, husband, two sisters, and a brother. She immigrated to Ottawa over 30 years ago with no money in her pockets and didn't know how to speak the foreign language, but she soon learned to speak English and some French. Xue was not shy to strangers, she enjoyed interacting with people, making jokes, and she was the favourite to everyone she met. Her love, compassion, and sacrifice helped build the foundation, walls, and roof for her family. The Li and Seto family would like to sincerely thank the medical professionals, specialists, and staff of the Ottawa Hospitals for the care mom received throughout her journey. We would also like to extend our appreciation to the Alam family and our family Doctor for their endless support. We will deeply miss mom and will forever love her. Our memories with her will be immortalized. Mom, for every journey you take, may you walk on a good road. May the light guide your way, and may it always lead you home.
