Many fond memories of the Stelliga's growing up. I remember being so excited when I heard that Uncle Don and Aunt Terresa were coming for a visit. I remember them camping in our back yard with their tent trailer and Joe, Kim, and Tony being the "cool" city kids! lol. I came upon this site by accident while searching Marcos Engineering. I'm a "Car Guy" and to say that I was impressed with what Tony did for the Marcos brand would be an understatement. I had very little interaction with Tony as an adult as family's grow apart as we age, however with what I have read here and on other sites I can see that he never strayed from his core values of just being a good person. I did reach out to Tony in the early days of his involvement in the Marcos project, never expecting a return email. To my surprise, and yet not really surprised he did return my email with an email that was true to form, witty, personable, and informative. RIP Tony.

I met Tony back in 2005 (I think it was) when I went to the UK to report on a story on Marcos. I stayed near the factory for about a week and saw Tony and his team every day. The story would eventually get picked up by The New York Times and after that, we would grab dinner whenever he visited NYC on business. We would typically go to the Spotted Pig and I remember those nights with tremendous fondness. He became a mentor to me. I'm sure he was a mentor for many people, as he was about as bright as they come and just a wonderful and warm human being. One amazing trait that has stayed with me was his relentless curiosity. For a man of so many accomplishments, he would rarely talk about himself. Instead, he always came full of questions, inquiring about what I was working on and what my wife, an author, was working on. He would talk about cars, music, his family and his children. The last time we had dinner was in February of 2016 he was in town visiting the New School, where his daughter would be attending in the fall. He was proud and excited. He loved New York and said he expected to visit more often to see his daughter. I looked forward to seeing him more often as well. I'm so devastated to learn that he passed away shortly after that dinner. Even though we didn't see each other often, I considered him a friend and will miss him tremendously. I would like send my deepest condolences to Tony's family and friends.

I have only just heard this sad news of Tony passing. I briefly met Tony in 2004 ,Tony thanked me at the then TVR Factory in Bristol Avenue ,Bisphan Blackpool .I had done little but introduced and arranged for him to meet Mr Smolenski (The then new owner of and to whom I was private assistant ).
To me he was the bright light in the chaos that was in the tvr automotive room, he was so friendly and helpful at a time when I had little idea of what was going on. I would not say we where close as we met just twice ,in Highgate and Blackpool he was always available on the phone. I still have the bottle of red wine he gave me ,and used to speak of him with my family regularly .I wish I'd stayed in touch more ,he made an impact on me .my thoughts with his family and friends .I shall always remember Tony. I just heard the news and was just shocked. Tony and I would touch base once every 5 years or so. I was always amazed at his accomplishments. He went a long way from the days on Highman Ave. I was just telling my youngest but I likley told all my kids about how Tony and I would be driven by our parents for an hour so we could attend band practice. Tony on the sax and me on the trombone. Funtimes. We were always treated to a super sub at the Mr. Sub in Preston on the way home. I'm so sorry for the loss of your Father, Brother and friend.

My deepest condolences to Tony's family. I had the pleasure of working with Tony at Quellan. It was my first experience in a start-up company. Tony was a gifted entrepreneur and it was amazing to watch him work his magic. I'll always remember him somehow getting Panasonic managers to sign off on a P.O. out of thin air on a white board in Japan. Tony had a really amazing way of creating new opportunities.

I worked with Tony in Silicon Valley at Intersil Corporation. A strong team builder, Tony attracted talented design, product, test, and application engineers, and technicians, admins, sales, and marketing professionals to his organizations at Quellan, Intersil, and Spectra7.
He was a very humble man, and kind to all levels of the organization. Common attributes among the many people Tony hired are compassion and kindness for people from all walks of life. My sympathy goes out to Tony's family and friends, and the staff of Spectra7.

Rest in peace.
