Sorry to hear of the death of your loved one. Take comfort in knowing that 'God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.'(Psalm 34:18)

Betty, Diane & Ray: We were deeply saddened to hear that Don had passed away. Don was truly a very caring, giving, generous man. I personally have seen his generosity with many of the people with whom he came in contact. In 1956 when I was 18, I met Don and spent many hours at both of his service stations while he helped me out with car repairs and personal advice based on his life experiences. Betty, I remember you and Don attending our wedding in 1960. Don was not only my friend but was also a friend to my brother, Paul, and my dad. I am sure they are all together rehashing old times. Betty, Diane and Ray, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great sorrow.

Moving to WPB in 1961 Don was one of the very first people I met. I worked for Firestone Tire in WPB. I met Don and Betty's Dad at the station on Federal Hwy.
We have been friends for 50 years, and since moving back to Kentucky, we have sent Xmas cards. My wife Dixie and i are so very sad thazt our dear friend Don has passed.
Our hearts go out to Betty and the kids.
