Isabelle Panosian Obituary

BETHEL, CT - Isabelle (Parsigian) Panosian, 88, of Bethel, CT, formerly of Pawtucket, RI, wife of the late Peter Panosian, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Bethel Health Care, Bethel, CT.
Mrs. Panosian was born in Pawtucket, August 26, 1928, a daughter of Charles and Araxie (Altounian) Parsigian. She attended Pawtucket schools and graduated from East High School.
For many years, Mrs. Panosian was an accounts payable clerk with several department stores in the Pawtucket/Providence area.
A resident of Bethel for the past six years, coming from Pawtucket, she enjoyed cooking, travel and knitting.
Despite life's many difficulties dealt her, being a woman of strength and tenacity, she overcame many of those obstacles when most could or would not.
Mrs. Panosian is survived by a daughter; Cheryl Haddad and her husband Fady of Danbury, CT; two daughters in law, Sandra Panosian and Margaret Panosian both of Pawtucket, RI; five grandchildren, Jennah N. Haddad, Julianna N. Haddad, Nicholas Trudel, Melissa Trudel and Joshua Panosian and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Panosian was predeceased by two sons, John C. Panosian and Peter M. Panosian.
The family will receive friends at in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, RI on Wednesday, February 22 at 10:00 am with funeral services at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI.

dear cheryl so sorry to hear about your moms death. i was in spain for the month of february. she died on my birthday so i will not forget her she was a special person remember our trip to washington and then to disney she was a great friend and a wonderful cook and teacher love carole melikian
