Alvin Crump Obituary

ALVIN BUCKNER CRUMP, SR. July 4, 1929-September 7, 2011 In the early morning hours of September 7, Alvin Buckner Crump, Sr., passed away peacefully in his sleep. Born on the 4th of July, 1929 in Los Angeles, California to Allie and Florence Crump, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances, daughter, Alva and son, Alvin "Buck" Jr. Alvin is survived by daughter, Christine; son, Kenneth (Jan); and 6 grandchildren, Brigette Chao (Tim), Sarah Miller (Ron), Joseph Hofferber (Brittany), Kyle Goldie, Troy Goldie, Amy Black; sister-in-law, Doris Crump; 6 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. Alvin owned and operated Avon Machine Products in Glen Avon for 30 plus years. Alvin was a lifetime member of Lions International Service Club. Services will be Tuesday, September 13 at the Rubidoux Mortuary, with the viewing from 9-10:30 a.m., followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Green Acres Memorial Park in Bloomington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to: Care Alternative, Hospice, 7344 Magnolia Avenue, Suite 245, Riverside, CA 92504.
