ROBERT B. HENRY JR.

1932 - 2010

ROBERT B. HENRY, JR. Passed away on October 19, 2010 of pancreatic cancer. He was a resident of Riverside for over 54 years. Robert was born March 21, 1932 in New York City, New York. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Robert served as a member or the new Jersey National Guard, and for 4 years as a communications officer with the United States Air Force. Robert was an avid photographer, and loved taking pictures of family, friends, and anything that drove or flew. He is survived by his brother, Donald Henry of Slatington, PA, 2 sons, Steven R. Henry of Torrance, CA and Gary A Henry, of Riverside, CA as well as 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Robert had a love of amateur radios, and keeping in touch with his family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered as a dedicated family member, friend and volunteer for a variety of events where he assisted with communications services. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 29th at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA at 10:30am. A reception will follow the service.
