ROBERT EDWARD HEATLEY 10/6/1927 - 10/6/2010 Bob died peacefully at home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. He was a resident of Riverside for 30 years. Bob was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; he served in the U. S. Army Air Corps and was an engineer in the metal mill machinery business for 33 years prior to retirement. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Birdy, daughter Rosalyn Lunde (Harold), son William (Lynn), four grandchildren, Douglas, Megan, Valerie and Marisa, and two sisters, Jean Katitus and Sally Stacho. Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing and visiting with his many friends. Interment is private at Riverside National Cemetery. Donations may be made to VNA & Hospice of Southern California, 150 W.
