SHARON SCHMIDT (BOLING) 70 years old, Sharon, a resident of Riverside, CA, passed away November 9, 2010 with loving family and friends by her side. Sharon was born September 4, 1940 in Los Angeles. She attended Santa Ana High, Class of 58, and then proceeded to graduate from the University of Redlands. Sharon is preceded in death by her father William Boling and mother Maxine Boling. She is survived by her brother Jerry Boling and sister-in-law Linda of Philadelphia; daughter Melissa Dillon and son-in-law Eric of Corona; daughter Amanda Hughey and son-in-law Chuck of Riverside; daughter Marcy Olaveson and son-in-law Lance of Lakeside; grandchildren: Holly Dillon, Trenton Hughey, Travis Hughey, and Bailey Olaveson. Sharon began her long, illustrious teaching career in the Corona Norco Unified School district in 1976 at John Adams Elementary School, where she touched the hearts of hundreds of students, parents, and colleagues. The John Adams community was Sharon\'s second family. Sharon was always willing to donate to a fundraiser, inquire about family members, and always loved a good party. Sharon retired from CNUSD in 2004 but never left her John Adams family. She continued to substitute until her death. Her smile and hugs will be missed, but her memories will always live in our hearts. The memorial service will be held at St. Johns Episcopal Church, Saturday, November 13th at 3 P.M. at 526 Magnolia Ave., Corona, CA, 92879. (951) 737-1363.
