PETER "CHICKIE", 75, of Auburn, Alabama formerly of Philadelphia. Memorial Service is 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Auburn. Visitation will be held Friday from 9-10 A.M. one hour prior to the service at St. Michael's Catholic Church. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, Mass. 01202.

Dear Mrs. Azzarona and Family. My name is Nan Galik. I am a volunteer in the cancer center at EAMC. It was my honor, privililege and pleasure to have taken care of Mr. Assarona. He was one of my favorite patients. He gave me an autographed copy of his book. I have never read a book so fast. I enjoyed is so much I couldn't put it down. He will always have a special place in my heart. I pray for peace for you all.
