RICHARD J. "DICK", March 22, 2010, of Broomall PA, formerly of Lansdowne PA. Beloved husband of Patricia A. (nee Bertolino) Kollhoff; devoted father of Lea M. Kollhoff; beloved brother of Edward, Christine (Charles) Matthews, John W. (Patty), Timothy J. (Joanne), Carol (Mike) Flanski, Michael (Stephanie), Patricia (Alan) Dudkiewicz and the late Dennis and Helene Wilhelm; loving son of Helen S. (nee Hauck) and the late Edmund J. Kollhoff; son-in-law of Marguerite and the late Edward Bertolino; brother-in-law of Mary Ann (Frank) Vesci, Terry (Fran) O'Kane, Edward J. (Loraine) and Suzie (Shawn) O'Neill. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday, 5 to 8 P.M., or Friday, after 9 A.M, Church of St. Cyril, 153 Penn Blvd., E. Lansdowne PA 19050, Funeral Mass Friday, 10 A.M. Int. SS. My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Kollholf family. Knew Dickie growing up and worked with him in the early 90's, great guy always full of life and nothing ever got him down. I lost touch with him after we worked together, I just found out today about what had happedend to him and his passing, spent the rest of the day thinking of the times we had. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this very sad time.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Kollholf family. Dickie was a good man, a devoted husband and father and great example of integrity and unwavering will. No matter what adversities life threw at Dickie, he always had a smile and believable laugh that seemed to start at his feet and work its way up to a contagious roar. He could always make me laugh no matter what was happening and I’ll always remember him that way.

Dear Trish and Lea,
I just returned to work today (Thursday) and received the news. I am so so so sorry for your loss. I loved Dickie like he was my own family member, and enjoyed everyday I was able to spend with him and the both of you among other extended family members in therapy. At a time like this there are no words that anyone can say that will make the pain any easier. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Although I had not met Dick, I know of the love you all poured out for him, loving through the tough times during the past few years.
