GEORGE J. SR., on January 30, 2012. Former husband of Rose (LaDue). Devoted father of Donna, Kevin (Tina White), Sherri (John Butler), George Jr., Kristina, and Anthony Cruz. Dear brother of Eugene, Elizabeth Aponte, and the late Jack, David, and Marie. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren; his girlfriend, Sandy Fletcher; and his good friend, Walt Heimall. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday, 7 to 9 P.M., at McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 E. Susquehanna Ave. (Girard Ave. Exit I95), Phila. PA 19125. Int. private.

God saw you were getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you
And whispered, "Come To Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
rest in heaven uncle george love and miss you dearly thank you for being there for tony he loves you soo much and never will stop you will always be his dad dad..this friday will be so hard for him (and all of us)to say goodbye but you taught him to be strong and that's what he is doing...till we meet again love you always...

on 1-30-12 i lost the most important man of my life my dad, even though we didnt always get along , the day god took u home he took apart of me with u im going crazy u left just 3 days b4 my 30th birthday i know u held on as long as u can n im s thankful that i got them couple extra days ,weeks that we got to spend .. i love u dad .. rip dad say hi to uncle jack for me plz.. love u guys..

george will definately be missed by many . he played a big part in my life growing up always knew when he was watching out for us ... kept us on track lol ... i know how sad it is to lose your parent but one thing is for sure he raised you all well and strong so live life the way he raised you and keep moving on ... we are kenzos and was raised by kenzo parents lol doing my best to get there ... stay strong !
