Letty, It has been 7 years since Art passed, but many times I have been in situations that had me thinking back to when I worked for Art, and at each instance I either smiled knowingly, or outright started laughing at how Art would have reacted. I am retired now, but a lot of the comfort and security my wife Donna and I have now is in large part due to how Art shaped my future. Have a wonderful holiday season. Bob Knox

Dear Letty and family,
I'm sorry I won't be able to attend either Art's viewing or funeral as I'm singing in an Oratorio. Art was a good friend during my days as CEO of Frankford Hospital and I know how difficult his death must be for you all. You have my deep sympathy and my prayers,

Letty Alma and I send you our sincere sympathy on Art's passing. I have known Art since 1968 and always admired his spirit and awareness of all the good around us. I have many fond memories of our times together especially our trips with Soon Lee to teach the Temple program. Our times at HFMA golf outings and the social events after.
We will miss him at the the annual Presidents dinner and I am sure will lift our glasses in tribute to a fine gentleman and a very learned teacher.

I worked with Art in the 70's and 80's at Penn. He had a great sense of humor and was always loyal to the people who worked for him. My deepest sympathies to his family. He had a side that few saw that was funny and sensitive.
