LITTLEWOOD
WALLACE T. "SKIP", 68, of Norristown GA, formerly of Penn Valley, PA and Yuma, AZ passed away on June 12, 2015. Skip is survived by his devoted wife Renee Dudley Littlewood; his parents Wallace and Maud; his brother David (Michelle); his sister Anne Siembieda (Matt); and brother James (Donna). He is predeceased by his wife and mother of his children Sherry Jonson Littlewood. Skip is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tara Anne Salas (Mike), Melissa Littlewood, Lia Littlewood (Isaac) and Stefanie Stewart (Jordan); as well as his stepdaughter LaRhee Hall (Chris). He will be sadly missed by his 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild as well as his numerous nieces and nephews. Skip grew up in Penn Valley where he attended Harriton H.S. and Severn Preparatory School in Md. He went on to U. of AZ. He served his country from 1967-1971 with the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam from Jan. 1970 - Jan. 1971. During his military career, Skip was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 star, and the Vietnam campaign medal with device. He also received the Good Conduct Medal twice. After the service, Skip settled in Yuma, AZ. He worked as a masonry designer and contractor. Skip also pursued his lifelong love of music as a sound engineer, with groups such as the Allman Brothers Band, Dickey Betts & Great Southern, and Marshall Tucker Band. His remastered version of the Allman Brothers "Mountain Jam", patented as "Peach Cobbler #6" now resides in the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. He was well known in the music industry as "Capt. Skipper". A private Burial was held on June 19 in GA. A Memorial Service for Skip will be held in this area at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Last Time we spoke we talked about our days at Severn prep school, playing football and our service to this great country of ours. Thank you Skip for all you sacrificed for us, democracy and Freedom. My condolences to your family and friends. Will always remember your success in life,in who you were so proud, your children. Buddy.
