Adelaide Styron Obituary

Adelaide McCabe Styron CHESAPEAKE - Adelaide McCabe Styron, 88, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in a local hospital following a short illness. Born in Medford, Mass., she was the daughter of the late George E. and Shirley W. McCabe and was also predeceased by her husband, Chief Warrant Officer Logan P. Styron. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra S. and Richard Roark; her son, Paul W. Styron; three grandchildren, Robin Roark, Paul and wife Kristie and Scott Styron; and four great- grandchildren, Logan, Allie, Trevor and Trey Styron, all of Chesapeake. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 15, in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
