I am saddened by the news of Mr. Scott's passing. I will fondly remember him always as my close friend's "Dad", and as a cheerful, energetic, "full of life" person.

I started to write my top ten attributes of Stanley Scott, I stopped after three. Here they are.
1. Big Heart
2. Big Brain
3. Good Friend

Didn't seem worthwhile to keep going.

Scotty was a wonderful uncle and just prince of a guy. A visit from him or to Ewell Point was always something to look forward to. I know Scotty being reunited with Dorothy Mae brings comfort to the entire family.

One of my very favorite relatives - that he was related by marriage never made a difference. Scotty always had a warmth that made you feel he was REALLY glad to see you. My love to all the family.

Robin, Mike and Stella: Uncle Scottie will be greatly missed by our family. We have many very fond memories of his wit, his smile and his love for Dorothy Mae. Your all were blessed with wonderful father that cared for you all and your children so much. He is now at his new "Last Resort" with your Mom. Love to you all, Terry and Dennis Stokes

We are very sorry to hear of the loss of Scotty. Some of our fondest memories are at the bay visiting him and Dorothy May. He always kept us entertained! Our daughter's, Kathryn and Jane have always remembered the fishing trip he took them on one year and the joy he brought.

Tucker Scott, III

December 22, 2012

The loss of our Uncle Stanley leaves a big hole in our hearts. He is the last of his siblings, a brother, my Dad, Tucker M. Scott, Jr., and my aunts Pauline Johnson and Mary Louise Hilcken, and their respective spouses which ends an era, but not a legacy that we all inherit with joy, respect and gratitude. Our hearts and prayers are especially with his children and grandchildren.
