Edwin Forehand Obituary

Edwin V. Forehand CHESAPEAKE - Edwin V. Forehand, 69, of Great Bridge, passed away Aug. 4, 2011 in Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Vernon W. and Pattie H. Forehand. He retired from Kraft General Foods. He was a member of Great Bridge Baptist Church and Owens Masonic Lodge No. 164 AF&AM. He is survived by his wife, Shirley B. Forehand; two sons, Bradley T. Forehand and wife Brenda of Moyock, N.C., and Ryan A. Forehand of Currituck, N.C.; granddaughter, Bethany T. Forehand of Moyock; a brother, Hugh E. Forehand and wife Regina of Chesapeake; and nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Moseley and Dr. Will Langford officiating. The burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
