Joyce, Kevin and Mrs. Perkinson
I am so sorry for your loss. I have good memories of Mr. Perkinson from my childhood growing up on Dolphin Avenue and being friends with Joyce during those years. Many years of knowing the family, all good memories seeing the family at Coleman Place Presbyterian Church on Sunday and attending school with Joyce and Kevin and even being in Brownies and Girl Scouts with Joyce. May the Lord be with you all during this time and always.

It is hard to lose someone you have been around all your life. I have known Harvey since I was a little kid and will greatly miss seeing him across the street. I feel blessed that Karen and I were able to visit with him just a few days ago and got to say our goodbyes. Afflictions and death serve to convince us more deeply of our own weakness and insufficiently, and to make dear to one the grace, the promises, and the salvation of our Redeemer. When it is our turn to cross over the river we can find comfort in Isaiah 41:13. " For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.?

Mrs. Perkinson, Joyce, and Kevin; I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have many fond memories of all of you together at church functions. I know how hard your loss is, but I am also sure he is in a better place. Remember, he is smiling because the weight of his illness has been lifted. You will be together again. Love to all of you, Romona Spainhour Smith

I was so sorry to learn of the death of your husband and father. I remember him as a very nice man, good father and great neighbor. Growing up on Robin Hood Road was, for me, a wonderful experience. With so many families and friends on that street, those memories are still with me. I thank your father, and each of you for being a part of my childhood. The picture in the newspaper is how I remember Mr. Harvey. Always with a smile on his face.
Again, thanks for the memories!!
