Clara DeBest Obituary
Chesapeake - Clara DeBest, 95, of Chesapeake, VA, wife of the late John DeBest, passed away on November 18th following a long illness. She was born on May 26, 1916, in Chicago, Il, and lived in Chicago until moving to the Chesapeake home of her daughter, Barbara, and son-in-law, Larry Keith. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; three grandchildren; Christopher Keith and his wife Rhonda, Alison Klein and her husband Brett, and Erin Evans and her husband Brian; and three great-grandchildren; Rowan Keith, and Cameron and Rosslyn Evans. She was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church in Chesapeake. She was an employee of General Foods in Chicago for 40 years. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 25th, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Kuratko-Nosek funeral home located at 2447 S. DesPlaines Ave, North Riverside, Il. A funeral mass will follow at St. Louise DeMarillac Catholic Church in LaGrange Park, Il at 11:30 a.m. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Chesapeake.
