MACKINAW - Arlene D. Reel, 75, of Mackinaw, Ill., died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at HCR Manor Care in Peoria.
Arlene was born Dec. 15, 1937, in Mackinaw to Edward and Stella Simmons Rodewald. She married Warren "Bill" Reel. He preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents and one sister.
Arlene is survived by three daughters, Betty Cooper of Peoria, Lucille Larkins of Jonesboro, Ark., and Wanda Losh of Elmwood; one son, David Hamilton of Mackinaw; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Arlene had worked for Canteen Corp. at Caterpillar in Morton for over 10 years.
She was a member of Mackinaw United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Mackinaw United Methodist Church. The Rev. Joy Schlesselman will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at church. Burial will be in Mackinaw Township Cemetery. Haensel Funeral Home in Mackinaw is assisting the family with arrangements.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials are given to help with funeral expenses.
