PEORIA - Wayne A. Hauk, age 73, of Peoria passed away at 3 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015, at Farmington Country Manor in Farmington.
He was born May 30, 1942, in Peoria to Arnold and Irene (Lauterbach) Hauk. They preceded him in death, along with one brother, Raymond Hauk.
Survivors include one brother, James (Arlene) Hauk of Bartonville; one niece, Kathy Hauk of Peoria; one nephew, Kyle (Amy) Hauk of Peoria; and three great-nieces and nephews, Kourtney, Wyatt and Cody Hauk, all of Peoria.
Wayne graduated from Limestone Community High School in 1961. He was a farmer and worked in the Peoria Stockyards for 42 years, retiring in 2005.
He was a member of the River Valley Antique Club and the Peoria County Farm Bureau.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015, at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Farmington Country Manor Nursing Home or the Central Illinois Parkinson's Support Group.

Barb and I offer our condolences to the family. We did not realize that our visit with him in May this year at Farmington would be our last face to face visit with Wayne. It was a good visit remembering bits of our lives as our paths crossed.
