Kuester, Jeffrey L.

Jeffrey Lee Kuester, passed away on January 18, 2016, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital following complications from open heart surgery.

Jeff was a native of Neenah, WI, born on April 19, 1948, son of the late John H. and Dorothy G. Kuester. He graduated from Neenah High School and served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army in Vietnam. Jeff went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Business from UW Oshkosh.

Jeff held a variety of business positions throughout his life including ski salesman, restauranteur and small business owner before finally retiring as a marketing executive in 2014. All of the positions that he held throughout his life made full use of his ability to disarm people with conversation and quickly make friends.

Jeff loved Lake Winnebago, Lake Michigan, the ocean, and he had a passion for sailing. His last years in Florida allowed him ample opportunity to spend time on the water and the golf course with his many friends.

Jeff is survived by his son, Casey (Megumi) Kuester, Tokyo, Japan; a daughter, Kristin (Nathan) Wagner, Las Vegas; two granddaughters: Emma Kuester and Eleanor Wagner; his brother, Fred Kuester, Vero Beach, FL; his sister, Laura (Les) Wyman, Neenah; his nephews: Lance Kuester, Neenah, Curt (Stephanie) Kuester, Menasha, John Kuester, Allenville; a niece, Kate (Luke) Kingree, Eau Claire; and his wonderful friends all over the country.
