Anthony DiGiorgi Obituary
On Saturday, September 13, 2008, age 64, of Millvale; beloved husband of Anne (Atzinger) DiGiorgi; step-father of Robert M. Chambers, Jr.; father of Kathleen, Thomas and Brian DiGiorgi; son of Louis and the late Dorothea DiGiorgi; brother of Bruno, Loren and the late Vincent DiGiorgi; loved by nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends received Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at the HEALY-HAHN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 512 Grant Ave., Millvale. Mass of Christian Burial St. Nicholas Church Wednesday 10 a.m. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (Bridgeville). Tony was a decorated Viet Nam Veteran where he served as an Army Captain for 2 years; also a member of the Millvale VFW. In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial contributions to Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, 1 Intrepid Square, West 46th St. and 12th Ave., NY, NY 10036.

Tony was my best friend for over 47 years. We developed our philosophies and explored the mysteries of life together; and never had a cross word for one another. "Tula' and I shared in the worst of times and the best of times. Though we might not see each other for periods of time, when we met, it always picked up just were it had left off: as friends. Tony.....where do I start and what do I say?? You always were and will remain to be someone I looked up to in a way you could never know. I hope that in life I can be even a fraction of the person you are. I will miss you forever.
