KARIPIN KATHLEEN
Kathleen Karipin, age 85, of Coraopolis since 1988, formerly Neville Island, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 in Sewickley Valley Hospital. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, former office clerk with Dravo Corp. and active in the Coraopolis Towers (CTRO). Daughter of the late Lee and Annette E. (Elder) Caton, she was predeceased by her husband John Karipin in 2002. Survived by her children Mary Louise (John) Brush of Moon Twp. and John "Jay" Karipin of Coraopolis; grandmother of Valerie Phillips, Michael Brush and Amy Brush; four great-grandchildren, Kassandra, Rebecca, Tyler and Michael; a grandson-in-law, Scott Robinson; sister of Angie McCoy South Heights, Annette Butz of Tampa, FL, Daniel of Hopewell Twp., Edward of Hopewell Twp., John of Hopewell and Joe Caton of Houston, TX; a daughter-in-law, Martha Karipin of Coraopolis; sister of the late Lea Fetsko, Tommy Caton, Elizabeth Brogley, Alice Pugh, Marguerite Gunkle, Richard and Lee Caton. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the COPELAND CORAOPOLIS FUNERAL HOME 867 Fifth Ave., where prayers will be recited Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church by Father Richard Jones. Contributions if desired to the American Heart Association.
