On Wed. July 9, 2008, Philip Robert Shar, 86, of West Mifflin, PA. Husband of the late Milda (DeMarino) Shar; father of Patricia (Julian) Costanzo, Philip J. (Diane) Shar and Les (Barbara) Shar; grandfather of Cara and Katie Costanzo and Stephanie, Dina, Grant and Carter Shar; brother of John A. and Patsy Shar; also is survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Rose Smallhoover and Theresa Tahir. Friends will be received Thurs. 6-9 p.m. and Fri. 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. in the A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St. Clairton, PA 15025 412-233-5700. Mass of Christian Burial will be Sat. 10 a.m. in Holy Spirit Church, West Mifflin, PA where memorial contributions may be sent, 2603 Old Elizabeth Rd. West Mifflin, PA 15122.

I WAS SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF YOUR FATHER. HE WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AND IT WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE HIM IN THE GYM CHEERING ON THE LADY TITANS.
